First and foremost, I am a child of God.
I am a life-long Minnesotan (though I've
lived in Kansas City, St. Thomas USVI,
and was in various places in the US Army) and I love calling Minnesota home.
I am the spouse of Karen aka Ratchet,
kitty mom to Zipper, and a student
of enneagram. I love who I am, try to make
peace with who I have been, and hope to
be a gift and blessing to others with all I have been given.
I come to massage therapy by my own health and healing history, which is still very much a work in progress. I have spent a lifetime working with how trauma lives in my body, and am passionate about creating spaces for others to consider their own relationship with the body.
I love God, who I believe to be the One, Source Energy, Healer of all. I love my church and wish everyone would consider visiting sometime (really). We don't do church perfect, but I've never heard of one who does. I think a lot of churches get in the way (and can do great damage) to having a relationship with God. This is a part of my story too. But somehow God isn't done with me, and it helps me understand God better when being in community with other amazing, flawed, creative humans.
